The short answer: everywhere. Quickfix AI works on every website that has text input fields or rich text editors. Whether you're on Reddit, Gmail, Twitter, a forum, a blog comment section, or any other site with a text box, Quickfix AI will detect it and show the icon when you click in the field. If you can type in it, Quickfix AI can help you write in it.

How Quickfix AI works everywhere

Quickfix AI detects any text field or rich text editor on any webpage. When you click in a text box, the extension automatically shows the Quickfix AI icon next to it. This works on thousands of websites without needing special support for each one.

The extension handles both simple text boxes and complex rich text editors. Simple text boxes are what you see in basic forms and comment sections. Rich text editors are fancier and let you format text with bold, italics, or other styling.

Because Quickfix AI works universally, you can use it on websites you visit every day and also on obscure forums, company intranets, or any other site with text input. You don't need to check if a site is supported—if there's a text box, it works.

Good to know: Quickfix AI only works in Chrome for macOS and Windows right now. It doesn't work in mobile apps, desktop apps (like the Slack desktop app), or on phones and tablets. You need to use the website version in Chrome.

When the icon doesn't appear

Sometimes you click in a text box and the Quickfix AI icon doesn't show up. This usually happens when a website uses a very unusual custom text editor that Quickfix AI doesn't recognize yet.

If the icon consistently doesn't appear on a website where you'd like to use Quickfix AI, contact support through the in-app chat. We can help troubleshoot the issue and may be able to add support for that website in a future update.
