Quickfix AI is different from other AI assistants like ChatGPT or Claude. It automatically reads what you're replying to, so you don't have to copy and paste anything. Just click, and it generates a reply that makes sense in context.
What makes Quickfix AI different
With traditional AI assistants, you have to:
Copy the message you're replying to
Open the AI assistant in a new tab
Paste the message
Wait for a response
Copy the response back
With Quickfix AI, you just click the icon and it does all of this automatically. It reads the conversation, generates a reply, and inserts it for you.
Good to know: Quickfix AI only reads the page when you click "Generate Reply." It doesn't watch what you're doing in the background.
How Quickfix AI reads different websites
Quickfix AI works on every website with text fields or rich text editors. The extension automatically detects what you're replying to based on where you click.
Here are some examples of how it works on popular sites:
Reddit - Reads the post and comments
Twitter - Reads the tweet thread
Gmail - Reads the email conversation
LinkedIn - Reads posts and comments
Facebook - Reads posts and comment threads
The AI figures out what's important from the conversation and uses that to write your reply. See the full list of supported websites.
Automatic vs manual mode
Automatic mode (default): Quickfix AI reads everything automatically. Just click and go. This works great most of the time.
Manual mode: You highlight specific text you want the AI to read. Use this when automatic mode picks the wrong thing, or when you only want to respond to part of a long conversation. Learn more about manual mode.
Most people use automatic mode 95% of the time.
Why replies sound natural
The AI looks at the conversation and matches the tone. If someone writes casually, your reply sounds casual. If it's a professional email, your reply sounds professional.
You can also add custom instructions like "Always be friendly" or "Keep it professional" to control how replies sound.
