Magic mode is Quickfix AI's flagship feature that automatically detects what you're replying to and generates contextual responses without any manual selection. It reads posts, comments, emails, and threads in the background, so you can focus on reviewing and sending great replies.

How magic mode works

When you click in a text field, Quickfix AI automatically detects the context by reading all text on the page around where you're typing. It finds the original post, comment thread, or email you're responding to and processes the text content. You don't need to highlight anything or copy-paste. It just works.

Magic mode reads all text content automatically and adapts to any page layout. On Reddit, it reads the original post title and content, parent comments, and the specific comment you're replying to. On Twitter, it reads the tweet you're replying to and the tweet thread if it's part of a conversation. On Gmail, it reads the email subject line, previous messages in the thread, and the most recent email. Quickfix AI can adapt to any website layout as long as there's text content to read.

When magic mode works best

Magic mode is perfect for replying to posts or comments, email threads, and single-topic discussions. It works on any website with text content.

Magic mode doesn't work well when the page has multiple conversations or topics, or when you want to reference specific parts of a very long discussion. In those cases, use manual selection mode instead to choose exactly which parts of the page to read.

Customizing and refining

Before generating, you can adjust the length (short, medium, long) to match your needs. The AI automatically adapts its tone and style based on the platform and conversation. Your length settings are saved per website if you enable site templates.

What if the reply is off-topic?

Try regenerating by clicking "Generate Reply" again for a fresh response. Or switch to manual mode to select specific context. You can also use custom instructions to guide the AI.
