No, Quickfix AI doesn't store the posts, emails, or comments you're replying to. When you generate a reply, we send the content to our AI, get a response, and immediately delete everything. We don't keep copies of what you read or what the AI generates for you.

How content processing works

When you click "Generate Reply," the extension reads the content from the page and sends it to our servers. Our AI processes that content to understand what you're replying to, generates an appropriate response, and sends it back to you.

This entire process takes 2-3 seconds. As soon as the AI generates your reply and sends it back to your browser, we delete the original content and the generated reply from our servers.

Think of it like a conversation that disappears as soon as it's done. We see the content long enough to help you reply, then it's gone.

Good to know: The AI needs to read content temporarily to generate relevant replies, but we don't store it in any database or keep it for later use. Everything is processed in memory and deleted immediately.

What we do store

We only store information that's necessary to run the service:

  • Your email address and account details

  • Your subscription plan and payment status

  • Your custom instructions and site templates

  • How much of your daily limit you've used

  • Which devices are signed in to your account

None of this includes the actual content from websites you visit or the replies the AI generates. We track how many replies you generate per day, but not what those replies say.

AI provider data handling

Quickfix AI uses third-party AI providers to generate replies. When you generate a reply, the content is temporarily sent to our AI provider's servers for processing.

Our AI providers don't use content from API requests to train their models. Your conversations aren't stored or used to improve the AI. The content is processed and immediately deleted.

This is different from using AI chatbots directly, where your conversations might be used for training. With Quickfix AI, your data is never used for training.

Server logs and security

We do keep basic server logs for security and debugging purposes. These logs show when requests happen and whether they succeeded or failed, but they don't include the actual content.

For example, a log might say "User ABC generated a reply at 2:30 PM" but it won't say what the reply was about or what website you were on. The logs help us identify technical problems and prevent abuse.

Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. We don't keep them longer than necessary.

Your privacy controls

You control what content Quickfix AI sees:

  • In magic mode, the extension automatically reads content when you click Generate Reply

  • In manual mode, you choose exactly what text to send by highlighting it

  • You can close the extension at any time without generating a reply, and nothing gets sent to our servers

The extension only accesses pages when you actively use it. It doesn't watch what you do in the background or send data while you're just browsing.
