Quickfix AI uses secure sessions to keep you signed in across devices. When you sign in with your email and password or Google account, we create a secure session that lasts for 7 days. After 7 days of not using Quickfix, you'll need to sign in again. This keeps your account secure while making sure you don't have to sign in every time you use the extension.
How sign-in works
You can sign in to Quickfix AI in two ways: with your email and password, or with your Google account. Both methods are secure and give you the same access to your account and settings.
When you create an account for the first time, you'll verify your email with a 6-digit code we send you. If you use Google sign-in, you skip the verification step and use Google's security instead.
All sign-in information is encrypted when it travels between your browser and our servers. This means nobody can intercept your password or session information while you're signing in.
Sessions and staying signed in
After you sign in, Quickfix AI creates a secure session that lasts for 7 days. This session is what keeps you signed in without having to enter your password every time you open Chrome.
The session is stored securely in your browser and is only valid for the device where you signed in. If you sign in on your laptop, that session only works on your laptop. Your desktop would need its own session.
Sessions automatically expire after 7 days of inactivity. If you use Quickfix AI at least once every 7 days, your session stays active and you won't need to sign in again. If you don't use it for 7 days, the session expires and you'll see "sign in required" the next time you try to use Quickfix AI.
Good to know: Clearing your browser data or cookies will end your session immediately. You'll need to sign in again to use Quickfix. This is normal browser behavior for all websites, not just Quickfix AI.
Device tracking and limits
Quickfix AI tracks which devices have active sessions to enforce device limits based on your plan. Free plans allow 1 device, Pro allows 2, and Plus allows 5.
Each device is identified by your browser setup. If you use Chrome on two different computers, that's 2 devices. Using Chrome and Edge on the same computer also counts as 2 devices because they're separate browsers.
You can view all your active devices and sign out of specific devices from the Active Devices page in your account settings. This is useful if you want to remove old devices or check for suspicious sign-ins.
What happens when you sign out
When you click "Sign Out" in the extension or on the web dashboard, your session ends immediately on that device. You won't be able to generate replies until you sign in again.
Signing out on one device doesn't affect your other devices. If you're signed in on your laptop and desktop, signing out on your laptop keeps you signed in on your desktop.
Security features
Quickfix AI includes several security features to protect your account:
All communication is encrypted with bank-level security
Sessions automatically expire after 7 days of inactivity
You can manually revoke sessions from any device
Device limits prevent unauthorized account sharing
Email verification required for account creation
If you ever see suspicious activity on your account, sign out all devices immediately and change your password. Then review your Active Devices list to make sure you recognize everything.
