How to delete your account

Permanently delete your Quickfix AI account and all associated data

Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from Quickfix AI including your settings, custom instructions, usage history, and subscription details. The deletion is immediate and can't be undone. If you have an active subscription, it will be canceled automatically and you won't be charged again.


Before you delete

Make sure you really want to delete your account. Once deleted, you can't recover your custom instructions, site templates, or any other settings. You'll need to set everything up again if you create a new account later.

If you just want to stop paying for Pro or Plus, consider downgrading to the Free plan instead of deleting your account. This keeps all your settings while removing the monthly charge.

If you're deleting because something isn't working right, contact us through the in-app chat first. We might be able to fix the issue without you having to delete your account.

Good to know: After deleting your account, your devices are put on a 24-hour cooldown. You can't create a new account and sign in on those same devices for 24 hours. This prevents abuse of the free tier.

How to delete your account

  1. Go to app.quickfix.ai and sign in

  2. Click the Settings tab

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page

  4. Click "Delete Account"

  5. Read the warning message carefully

  6. Type "DELETE" in the confirmation box

  7. Click "Permanently Delete My Account"

Your account is deleted immediately. All your data is removed from our servers within 30 days as we clean up backups and logs.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

  • Your email address and account details

  • All custom instructions and site templates

  • Your usage history and activity logs

  • Your subscription and payment history

  • All active device sessions

We don't keep any personal information after deletion except for legal requirements like financial records for tax purposes. Those are kept for the legally required time period and then deleted.

What happens to your subscription

If you have an active Pro or Plus subscription when you delete your account, the subscription is canceled immediately. You won't be charged for the next billing period.

You don't get a refund for the remaining time in your current billing period. For example, if you delete your account 10 days into a monthly Pro subscription, you lose access immediately and don't get money back for the unused 20 days.

If you think you deserve a refund for special circumstances, contact us before deleting your account. Once deleted, we can't process refunds because your payment history is removed.

24-hour device cooldown

After deleting your account, all your devices are blocked from creating new accounts for 24 hours. This cooldown prevents people from creating multiple accounts to get around daily usage limits.

If you delete your account and immediately try to create a new one on the same device, you'll see an error. Wait 24 hours, then you can create a new account if needed.

The cooldown is tied to your browser. If you need to create a new account immediately, you can use a different browser or computer that wasn't signed in to your old account.

Creating a new account later

After the 24-hour cooldown, you can create a new account using the same email address you deleted. Your new account will be completely fresh with no data from your old account.

You'll start on the Free plan and need to set up custom instructions, site templates, and other preferences again. Your old subscription doesn't carry over to the new account.
