You can downgrade to a lower plan or cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. When you downgrade or cancel, your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period, then the change takes effect. You won't lose access immediately, and you can reactivate anytime if you change your mind.

How to downgrade your plan

Downgrading moves you from Plus to Pro, or from Pro to Free. Your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period, so you keep your higher limits until then.

  1. Go to app.quickfix.ai and sign in

  2. Click the Billing tab

  3. Select the lower plan you want to switch to (Free or Pro)

  4. Click the "Downgrade" button

  5. Confirm the downgrade when prompted

You'll see a confirmation message showing when the downgrade takes effect. Until that date, you keep your current plan's full capacity and device limits.

How to cancel your subscription

Canceling your subscription moves you to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. You don't get a refund for the remaining time, but you keep full access until your subscription expires.

If you have an active subscription, you'll see a "Manage billing" button in the top-right corner of the billing tab on app.quickfix.ai. This opens the Stripe portal where you can manage your subscription.

  1. Go to app.quickfix.ai and sign in

  2. Click the "Billing" tab

  3. In the Stripe portal, click "Cancel plan"

  4. Confirm the cancellation when prompted

After canceling, you'll see a message confirming when your paid plan expires. You can continue using the paid features until that date, then your account automatically switches to the Free plan.

Good to know: Canceling your subscription doesn't delete your account. You keep all your settings, custom instructions, and preferences. You just go back to the Free plan limits when your paid period ends.

What happens when you downgrade

When your downgrade takes effect, your daily capacity changes to match your new plan. If you're currently on Pro and downgrade to Free, you'll have limited daily capacity starting from your next billing date.

Your device limit also decreases. If you downgrade from Pro to Free and have 2 devices active, you'll need to remove 1 device to fit within the Free plan's 1-device limit. The extension will show an error until you remove enough devices.

All your other settings stay the same. Custom instructions, site templates, and preferences are preserved regardless of which plan you're on.

Reactivating a canceled subscription

If you cancel your subscription but change your mind, you can reactivate it before it expires. Click the "Manage billing" button in the top-right corner to open the Stripe portal, then click "Renew plan" to resume your subscription. Your plan will continue without interruption, and you won't be charged again until your next scheduled billing date.

If your subscription already expired, you'll need to subscribe again like a new purchase. Go to the Billing tab, select your plan, and complete the payment. You'll be charged immediately for the new billing period.
