Quickfix AI limits how many devices can use your account at the same time to prevent abuse and ensure fair usage. Free users get 1 device, Pro users get 2 devices, and Plus users get 5 devices. This guide explains how device limits work, how to manage your active devices, and what happens when you reach the limit.

Device limits by plan

Each plan has different device limits based on usage tier:

  • Free - 2 active devices

  • Pro - 5 active devices

  • Plus - 10 active devices

A "device" is any browser where you've signed in to Quickfix AI. If you use Chrome on your laptop and Chrome on your desktop, that counts as 2 devices. Different browsers on the same computer also count as separate devices.

What counts as a device? Each browser where you sign in counts as one device. Clearing browser data or reinstalling Chrome creates a new device.

How device tracking works

When you sign in to Quickfix AI, the extension remembers your device based on your browser setup. This device is tied to your account and counts toward your device limit.

Devices stay active for 7 days after you last use Quickfix. If you don't use Quickfix AI on a device for 7 days, it automatically expires and frees up a slot. You can also manually remove devices to free up slots right away.

Managing your active devices

Visit the Devices page in your account settings at app.quickfix.ai to see all active devices. Each device shows:

  • Browser type (Chrome, Edge, etc.)

  • Operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux)

  • Last activity time

  • Location (city/country based on IP address)

To remove a device, click the "Revoke" button next to it. The device will be immediately signed out and removed from your account. You can sign back in on that device later if needed, as long as you're under your device limit.

Click "Revoke All Devices" at the top of the Devices page to sign out of every device except your current one. This is useful if you suspect unauthorized access or want to start fresh.

Common scenarios

When you reach the limit: If you try to sign in on a new device when you're at your limit, you'll see an error message telling you to revoke an existing device first. The new device won't be able to access Quickfix until you free up a slot.

After account deletion: If you delete your account, you can't sign in on the same devices for 24 hours. This waiting period prevents people from deleting and recreating accounts to get around daily usage limits.

Upgrading for more devices: If you need more devices, upgrade to a higher plan. Pro plans get 2 devices instead of 1. Plus plans get 5 devices instead of 2. Your device limit increases immediately when you upgrade.

Downgrading with too many devices: If you downgrade and have more active devices than your new plan allows, older devices will stop working until you revoke enough to fit within your limit.
